In August 6 2024, Greenchar Climate Solutions made its public debut—and took home First Prize—at the highly competitive “动力创未” International Innovation Challenge held in Hangzhou. Hosted by INNONATION and the Xiaoshan International Talent Club, and guided by the Qianjiang Century City Management Committee, the event brought together elite startups from around the world.

Out of hundreds of cutting-edge global tech teams, Greenchar was awarded the top honor for presenting a breakthrough climate solution that transforms agricultural waste into carbon-negative biochar and monetizes it through international carbon credit certification.

Following Greenchar’s first-place win at the “动力创未” 2024 International Innovation Challenge, Co-founder Chloe Hung was interviewed by Zhejiang Television. This marked Greenchar’s first major media appearance and public recognition in China.
